Data Deletion

1. Send us your request

Email [email protected] with the subject ‘TecBase data deletion request’. Where possible, send it from the email address associated with your account.

Include your name, the email address or phone number associated with the data, the TecBase product or business you interacted with, and what you would like deleted. If the request relates to Facebook, Instagram or WhatsApp, include the relevant account username or phone number so we can locate the records. Please do not send passwords, access tokens or unnecessary identity documents.

2. We verify and review the request

We may ask for additional information to confirm your identity or authority before deleting data. This helps prevent someone else from deleting your information. We will contact you by email if clarification is needed.

If your data is held in a business’s TecBase workspace and that business controls the data, we may need to coordinate with that business or direct you to its privacy contact to complete your request.

3. Deletion and confirmation

Once verified, we will review and delete the personal data covered by your request that we are able to delete, including relevant account, contact, conversation or integration data held by TecBase. Deleting data needed to provide a service may affect your access to that service.

Some information may need to be retained to meet legal obligations, resolve disputes or protect against fraud. If an exception applies, we will explain what cannot be deleted and why. Any retained information remains subject to our Privacy Policy.

We will handle your request within applicable legal time limits and email you when it has been completed, or explain any further steps needed. Sending an email starts a request; it does not immediately delete your account or data.

Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp data

You can use the same email process to request deletion of personal data TecBase received through connected Meta services, including TecChat’s WhatsApp and Instagram integrations.

This request concerns data held by TecBase. It does not delete your Facebook, Instagram or WhatsApp account, or copies of messages and other information held by Meta, recipients or independent businesses. Requests concerning those copies should be made to the relevant platform or business.
